حول مونودراما جَبرا:
مسرحية من ممثل واحد، تتبع تطور كينونة الأديب الفلسطيني جبرا إبراهيم جبرا خلال الطفولة، مواكبين في ذلك تطور وعيه وفكره وعاطفته.
ينتقل الجمهور بين شخصيات شكلت فارقا كبيرا بحياة "جبرا" في رحلة بين أحواش وأزقة عاش وركض ولعب فيها بين مدينتي بيت لحم والقدس، اعتمد جبرا في كتابته لبئره الاولى على أحلام اليقظة والذاكره، في تصوير مرحلة الطفولة التي تبدو كمزيج من الكثافة الوجودية والغيبوبة الشعرية.

"حاولت ان اعود لإحياء تلك الفترة من جديد طفوليا دون تحرق للتحليل ودون ان افلسف ما جرى او اعقب عليه".

We are delighted to share with you the news of Inad Theater's participation in the International Monodrama Festival in Carthage at the end of April!

We invite you to attend "Jabra" monodrama, Thursday, 4/4/2024, at 8:00 PM at Wonder Cabinet, Bethlehem.

Tickets start from 30 ILS to contribute to the travel expenses to the International Monodrama Festival in Carthage!

Jabra Monodrama:
In this one-actor play, we follow the evolution of one entity, "Jabra" from the age of five until the age of twelve, in parallel to the development of his consciousness, intellect, and his passion. We progress with him through the different characters that made a difference in his life and between the streets and alleys in which he lived, ran, and played between the cities of Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Upon writing his first script on daydreaming and memory, Jabra relied on the depiction of childhood as a mixture of existential intensity and poetic coma; a combination of logic and illogic. Childhood, as Jabra described it, is not originally a single story. It is rather different stories that are often difficult to connect, despite the frequency of their characters, except with some narrative trick.

"I tried to come back to relive this period of childhood without a burning desire for analysis and without meddling or adding onto what really happened".
